Weekend of celebrations!

Last weekend was a weekend full of celebrations from a birthday to a wedding! It was jam packed and I’ve got loads of photos to show you all, please excuse the drunken mess I was.

Friday, it was my colleagues birthday so we decided to go out for a few drinks in our city. I have never been out in our city before so I was a bit of an anxious mess which ended up with me drinking a lot. We got ready at Leah’s and then all went into town together. I was drunk before the taxi even picked us up. I spent no money whilst we were out because I was already so pissed (cheapskate I am) but I had such a wicked night. My boyfriend met us out that night as well and we just all had a laugh together and took a lot of drunken pictures!

The next day I didn’t wake up until 3pm so you can tell it was a good night. It was also my cousin’s wedding over the weekend. My brother and I only went to the evening reception due to work commitments. I have also recently got back in touch with this side of the family (blog post is here: https://elenasianxo.blog/2018/09/08/family) so it was really nice seeing everyone and celebrating. My cousin looked beautiful and you could just see how happy she was, it radiated from her. The whole day looked absolutely incredible. It was so nice to catch up with everyone and they had some amazing food and entertainment.

I adored my hair for the wedding

Around 9pm, hog roast rolls come out and they were incredible! They had pork crackling and bbq sauce to accompany them and my brother must of had around 3 rolls alone. They also had a surfboard simulator thing that was a lot of fun. It was hilarious to watch the adults when they were slightly tipsy. The DJ also done songs through the ages so it ranged from 60’s to 90’s. It was a proper throwback and so enjoyable, the dance floor was packed.

My little brother is too grown up for my liking

I had such a nice weekend celebrating and I hope you guys had a nice weekend too!

Love, Els xxx
