This is an extra little post this week to make up for missing Wednesday and Sunday last week. It was a crazy week and I feel like time is running out on me, It’s driving me crazy.
You guys know how much I love Makeup Revolution. They created a massive frenzy with their new conceal and define concealer (that I have only just managed to get my hands on) so I predicted that their foundation launch would have the same type of reaction. Due to this, I hopped on the super drug website and pre-ordered it so it arrived the day after it was released.
I’m very much a creature of habit and struggle to find a foundation that matches my skin tone and looks nice on my skin. I was using a Bourjois foundation but since this foundation turned up at my door, I have been obsessed!
This foundation is in stick form which I was a little bit skeptical about due to not knowing how much to put on. A little bit goes a very long way and it suits my skin and matches the tone of it perfectly. I had the shade F1 which I find has the right amount of yellowness in it to counteract the dull shade of my skin. It helps to counteract this whilst also still giving me a natural look. It feels like nothing is on my skin at all which is what I love. This foundation is build able but it’s not full coverage. I would say its light to medium coverage which suits me fine. You can layer this up and it still looks fine.
This foundation wears extremely well and lasts well throughout the day. My work, as a carer, causes me to sweat quite a lot as I’m constantly running around in a very hot place. Due to this factor, the foundation doesn’t last all day but you can always touch u if you need to. I’m also sure this won’t be a problem if you don’t work in an extremely hot and fast paced environment.
Overall, I love this foundation and it has gone straight into my everyday makeup bag. I’m sure I’ll need to purchase another soon and for only £5 it’s a steal. I love it.
Have you guys tried it and if so what did you think of it?
Love, Elena x
